Ok, have a seat and listen to my tale of woe. Monday morning, at work, I tried to post pictures to my blog. My own personal photos from my digi. Stef helped me out. She suggested I post my photos at webshots, which I did. I then tried to post a photo on my blog. It didn’t work. So I left it there – just a big gaping hole in my blog – and I tried it at Yahoo photos. I tried the same thing and the picutre appeared. Delighted I thought I’d go home and finish the rest. Well…when I got home I couldn’t see the Yahoo photo, but I could see the webshot photo. Total opposite of what I saw at work. So I tried it all from home. I did the same thing – posted a photo from Yahoo, and one from webshots. I could only see the Webshot photo and NOT the yahoo one. I left them there too. When I arrived at work this morning I needed to confirm and yes, this is how it works. At work I can only see Yahoo photos on my site, but at home I can only see webshot photos. AND, everybody else can’t see either of them! So I deleted all those entries and big holes in my blog and have resigned myself to the fact that this blog will not have photos. I am sad because I don’t know what I did wrong. But, trust me, my scarf is cool looking – I’m getting compliments and I’m awfully proud of myself. AND, my quilt just needs the binding stitched on then it’s totally done. It’s looking good too!

Ok, on with my life. I had quilting class last night. I worked really hard for the first hour and a half, then we had to stop and work on our next project. We’re doing photo transfer stuff. So we were at the computers scanning and printing. The fabric paper is awesome. It’s super expensive though. Our teacher had lots of different brands and we experimented with a whole bunch. Of course, the one that I like is the most expensive, but the quality is unreal. You get what you pay for. I really wish I could’ve quilted more, but that’s ok. I will work on that tonight. I have some weekend teacher homework, then I will quilt – I have a couple things to watch on DVD, so I’ll just do that while I’m watching TV.

I promise I’ll get a picture up of my stuff – I will do that this weekend. I promise.

I am so happy it’s Friday – I slept in this morning. I figured, I could use an extra hour of sleep. So, I re-set the alarm and dozed off. I didn’t miss a thing – so all is good.

I got everything ready to go out for the teaswap. I am so excited for this one. I also picked up my cross-stitch and am nearing the end of that project. Then I have to frame it all. Tonight I quilt.

I am ready for the weekend. Though I do have lots to do. I will have homework, I have a movie I need to watch, laundry, clean the kitchen, crafting. Mark comes home on Saturday night. We’re gonna go out to dinner then. I have missed him so much. But I notice that when he’s gone I hog the ENTIRE bed. I am now directly in the middle and have pushed his pillows clear off to the side. I bet I’ll be hoggin’ it when he gets home too. Poor thing. The kitty is kind of getting used to it too. She’s sleeping ALL stetched out at the end of the bed like she doesn’t have a care in the world. How cute is that?

I have a busy day again, so off I go.

I finished my scarf late last night. I will post a picture, but I am so swamped I haven’t done it yet. But I will. Thank you Deb!!! I am now searching for my next project. But since I’m swamped I won’t be able to get to it till at least this weekend, if I’m lucky. I have quilting class on Thursday, and I imagine I’ll have homework with that. Just call me a craftin’ fool.

I’m sleepy today. I got plenty of shut-eye last night, so I’m not sure what’s up. I’m sure it has something to do with the fact that my schedule is outta control right now. That, and it never hurts to blame things on PMS.

We were supposed to get snow, but we lucked out and didn’t get any. The temperature dropped though. Actually, (I’m probably gonna regret saying this) we haven’t had a terrible winter or anything. Not too cold, and not much bad weather. Knock wood!

Well, I’ve scarfed down my lunch and am ready to head out of here. Tuesdays are my short days. I will probably grab a cup of joe on my way over to get my nails done. That’s my Tuesday guilty pleasure. I had a very busy day in classes today. I didn’t feel very productive in my lectures, but then I actually had a student come up after class saying she really enjoyed my lecture. Ah, what a good feeling. I think I blushed. An A for her! No, just kidding.

I do have some grading to do tonight, plus some reading for work. I also have to be back on campus this evening to work on rehearsals. I also need to re-fabric some chairs and a couch for the set. I bought some cheap fabric and will just make a quick little slip cover. I hope to go home after my nails and get crackin’ on some of that grading.

I have NO idea what to have for dinner. I have been eating Boca spicy chicken patties for a few days now. They’re so yummy and easy. I bet I’ll have that again tonight.

Mark called last night about midnight. He was just heading in from a busy day of meetings and such. He sounded so tired, plus he was coughing. I didn’t like that. He said he’s ok, but I don’t know…He’s notorious for not taking care of himself like he should.

Ok, almost time to cruise. I better get a few things done before I head out.

Every time Mark is away on business I notice how much healthier I eat. Isn’t’ that odd? He isn’t a junk food junkie or anything, but he’d prefer to have snacks around the house “just in case” – not me. I want that stuff outta here. It’s better if I just don’t snack. Which I don’t when he’s gone. I just make some tea, or have some water, or do some cleaning – then I forget I was even thinking about snacking. Here’s the clincher – he weighs less than I do. Why is it that guys can eat like crazy and not have it affect then? Drats!

I worked on my quilt last night – for hours, then I ran out of thread! So, I need to head back to the store and get some. I was really hoping to stay in all day. Oh well, it’ll be a quick trip. I have some housecleaning, some teacher homework, I have to pay some bills, and quilt. Oh – I am ALMOST finished with my scarf. I think I’ll finish it today. I have no idea how to bind off or cast off, or whatever it’s called. The pictures don’t make sense. Guess I’ll have to make up something.

Ok, gonna head to the store and get some thread – lots of it so this doesn’t happen again.

Mark left bright and early this morning for his conference in Denver, so I’m home alone. I did some housecleaning, took a nap, went shopping, came home and made dinner, now I’m ready to sit in front of the sewing machine for a few hours and work on my quilt for class. I had to get some fabric today for future projects. They were swamped for some reason. The whole world is crafting crazy I guess.

I am in the mood for something sweet, but alas, nothing is in the house. Which is good I guess. I will probably make some instant pudding later one. That usually does the trick. Plus, since it’s got in milk in it, I tell myself how good it is for me.

I ordered this book today finally. I am anxious to get it. I wish there was a group of knitters around here. But nope. Just me. I also ordered Bust magazine. I am looking forward to my first issue. I guess I also did some online shopping today, hmmm, forgot to mention that earlier, didn’t I? One of the reasons I love online shopping is because I get stuff in the mail. I’m still excited about the mail coming everyday. Same as when I was 5 years old. Some things never change.

I have ordered tea for my swap, and am starting to get stuff together for my very first state swap.

Alright, I need to make some tea, not sure what kind yet. Guess I’ll snoop around and see what I have. I think I may have a couple cups of some mint teas that I haven’t used up yet. Then I’m turning on npr and going to start quilting.

I get to sleep in tomorrow!!! Yippie!!!
