I think Mark fixed our PC last night. I have no idea what happened, but something nasty go in us – my fault. I can’t figure out where I was when it happened. Tonight is Mark’s play – opening night. I am excited for him. He has been majorly stressed AND his birthday is Monday, so he hasn’t had much time to even think about celebrating. Poor baby. He is sad and so ready for the summer to be here. I can’t wait to have him all to myself. I want him to relax so much he finally wanders around the house and says he’s bored. That will make me happy.

I received my recent tea order in the mail yesterday. I need to get it all wrapped up and sent out within the next few weeks. I am still swimming in finals though. My head is full of things to do. I need to finish up here before I start having fun with home stuff.

Sorry, so short – I can’t help it. Swamped!

Ok, it’s time for my iced tea report. I made my first batch tonight in my new iced tea maker. I was pretty skeptical. I had a hard time believing that I could have COLD iced tea in 10 minutes. It’s basically set up like a regular coffee maker. You pour in the water, add tea to the basket, put ice in the pitcher and turn it on. It brews it up in 10 minutes. It’s steaming and everything so I figured when it was done I would still have to wait a little bit to have COLD tea. As soon as the cycle stopped I poured a glass – it was ice cold. Not like warmish with ice cubes in it, but ice cold. In 10 minutes flat. I was pleased. I did find out that I need to add more than they recommend because I need it a little bit stronger. I used regular tea and 1/3 of some lemony gunpowder tea from Harney and Sons. It is really good. Just a hint of lemon. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Our computer has been odd tonight. I have run spywear twice and it still is saying there is stuff there that shouldn’t be. I will wait till Mark gets home and get that taken care of. Hopefully he can figure it out. I had planned on doing homework tonight, but not with our PC acting the way it is…

I’m off to bed to continue reading.

Good morning. I got to sleep in my bed last night since no one puked in it this time.

I slept in a little bit. It’s harder and harder to wake up knowing that there are only a few more days left. I just want to relax and stuff at home. I do have homework stuff to do, so I need to focus on that today.

I had some wicked dreams last night – not sure why. Must’ve had zillions of them though.

Oh – I bought an iced tea maker last night. All this take about iced tea was making me drool. I usually am too lazy to make tea during the summer. I make it once or twice, but I figure I can just throw in some tea and pour the water and voila – it’s done! I was pleased. Tonight I need to experiment with it and give my report on how it is.

Off to work!

What Flavour Are You? Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.

I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain. What Flavour Are You?

What can I say, I was bored. I got these all from Heather.

Let me see, what was my night like – hmmm. Well, it started out great. We did comedy. Had a good show. I was clickin’. Then we went home – it’s late, we’re tired, we’re sweaty, but we’re still a little wired. So, it takes us a while to calm down. About midnight we head back to the bedroom. Guess who has puked on the bed? Guess who puked on the bed so much that it soaked through to get the mattress pad wet? Yes, my furry baby puked. So we stood there and looked at it for a long time. We stripped the sheets and everything. Then we stood there and looked at the bed again. I felt we shouldn’t make the bed because I wanted to check the mattress to make sure it wasn’t all wet too. But I wasn’t in the mood to do that at midnight. So, we split up and went our separate ways. Mark took the clock radio and headed to the living room couch. I took my pillows and headed to “Mark’s” room to sleep on the futon. My God – that futon is rock hard!! I woke up with a stiff neck. I ended up sleeping on top of my blankie because I thought it would add some extra cushioning. So, with much tossing and turning – and comforting of the kitty – she was mighty confused. I did manage a little sleep here and there. When I get home after work I have laundry to do and I want to make sure the mattress isn’t all pukey from her. Then hopefully we can both get a good night’s sleep tonight. I am going to Mark’s rehearsal tonight, but then I should be able to be home by 10 at least.

Other than that, things are well. I am counting down the days. I can feel summer slowly creeping in the air. My first few days off I think I’ll just sleep and veg out. I’m seriously looking forward to that.

Well, I may write more later, but I need to get organized. I have a quick day and need to stay on top of things.

Adios!

Had a rough night last night. Mark woke up at 3:30 with a killer migraine. He usually doesn’t get them, so I was nervous. Got him all fixed up and feeling better, then tried to sleep. I ended up tossing and turning till 6:00. Then I woke Mark and asked him if he mined if we slept in a little bit today. He was still exhausted, so he didn’t mind one bit. We got up at 8 and headed to work. Luckily we work where we don’t have to punch in or report to anyone. Mark is feeling much better, but I hate it when he’s in pain.

Today is moving right along. I have a meeting here soon, then I think I’m heading home. I have a comedy show tonight. Last one for awhile. Thank goodness – it’s hard to be funny all the time. Hee-hee. So, it’ll be a late night for us. Hopefully we can make it through the night without disasters.

Off I go!

This has been a terribly lazy Sunday for me. I’ve napped, lounged around, read the newspaper, surfed the net, read blogs, not much of anything actually. I have started laundry and will get that done soon. Then I need to finish up some reading for work. That’s all I have planned for tonight. Tomorrow I can watch TV. I will have gone an entire week. Good for me. It was tough at times – especially if I was bored or just looking to kill some time. Then I found myself online. I was actually online more than I usually am this week because of that. I have had a sinus headache all day. Hopefully I can go to bed early and make sure it’s gone by tomorrow morning. Only two more weeks of work left!

I am not doing much of anything tonight. At least the rain has finally stopped (knock on wood). I am reading and sipping tea. All night long – those are my plans. Mark is doing a comedy show, so it’s me and the baby tonight.

Guess I’ll light some candles and refill my cup with Lisanne’s yummy tea.

Good night all!

Mark I drove separate cars to the performance last night. It was raining – actually pouring, and we heard at intermission that there was a tornado not too far away from us, so I ran to the car barefoot – because I didn’t wanna trash my shoes. The water was getting deep because it was coming down so quickly. I had on capri, and those even got wet all around the cuff. I drove home – slowly. The streets were starting to flood. I listened to the radio – no TV still – and called Mark – he had his phone on vibrate. I told him that it was getting better, but the streets were icky. About an hour later he called and said he was going to pick us up some dinner – fast food. The rain finally ended, and we were no longer in a severe weather warning. Can’t wait till this bad weather season is over.

I have lots and lots of homework to do. Actually sitting down and looking at it all gets me a little stressed. I’ll get it done, I’m probably over-exaggerating on how much I actually have, but oh well.

Today I think we’re gonna head to our fave coffee shop for lunch and tackle some of our work while we’re there. Then Mark has a comedy show tonight. So he’ll do that. Not sure how long he’ll be gone, but about 4 hours I assume. I should be able to get oodles done since I can’t watch TV still.

Have a good one!

got tea in the mail today from the most wonderful group in the whole world. I am so glad I found these people. Not only do I have great friends, but I am learning so much about tea. And you know me, I love to learn new things.

I have to go to a performance tonight, not that I want to, but I kinda have to. It’s one of those PC things I have to do. So, I will sit through it. It’s two guys that play folk music. Fine, but I really am not in the mood right now. I think I’ll bring a book anyway. I always travel with a book, you never know when you may need an escape. You should see how I purse shop. Can it hold a book?? That’s all I care about. Oh well, that’s my Friday night.

The weather has been awful dreary today. Lots of rain again.

I’m still not watching TV. It’s been hard at times. The biggest thing I do is reach for the remote without thinking. That’s bad. I guess part of me is a mental slave to the boob tube.

We don’t have major plans this weekend. That’s a first for us in awhile. But I do have lots of homework. I don’t think Mark does though. So he can watch TV and I’ll work.

Ok, off I go to choose a tea and brew up some yumminess
