Well, guess where I am… WORK. The forecast was TOTALLY wrong. We only have two inches and not a lick of ice. No snow day for me.

We are getting snow right now. I really, really wish it would just dump on us – like a good foot or more. I want a snow day! With college, we really don’t have to close, everyone is in the dorms or are big boys and girls and can drive – so we’re usually stuck on campus in the middle of a blizzard too. But, I thought ahead. I have rehearsal for our comedy group in the morning. I already cancelled that “just in case” and don’t’ have class till after 10, so if needed I could stay home till it got closer to ten and wait for the roads to clear up some. We’ll see. Heck, what difference does it make – kitty has a built-in alarm clock and will walking around on top of me at 6am on the dot. That’s ok, she’s forgiven because she’s cute.

I had quilting homework, but I did very little of it. We are working on photo transfer stuff right now. I bought some of the photo transfer paper. We get a nice discount through the school. I bought the most expensive because I liked the quality. I saw some of the cheaper stuff people bought, and it looks all grainy. Have any of you worked with photo transfer on fabric paper and used it? I think I’m going to make a quilted wall hanging somehow. I need to figure that out.

Alright, I’m off to make some tea and watch MTV – I need my laughter for the night – so I’ll be watching Jessica Simpson and Nick in “Newlyweds” – is she really that stupid?

I have lots of crafting to do tonight. I have some stuff to sew for Mark’s show. It involves a lot of hand sewing. So, I’m going to sit in front of the TV and do that, while I watch a Woody Allen movie because I never got a chance to watch it over the weekend. Then, once that’s done, I am going to work on knitting. Oh, hold on…Here’s a picture of my purse I’m working on:

I really didn’t realize how much the white/light grey shows up in that yarn. It mostly looks black to me. Ok, off to hand sew.
PS- didn’t I tell you I’d go picture happy once I figured it out…. 🙂

Salma thanks so much for telling me about photo bucket. I THINK I can finally post pix by myself. I need to have a few moments to still work with it, but I am gonna give it another shot. BTW – that cutie pie in the entry before this is my baby – she’s 16 and her name is JD. She’s one of the most precious babies in the whole wide world.

Knitting update: I bought this knitting kit through QVC.com. I am working on the very first project – the purse. I finished the front part tonight and will continue working throughout the week. I think I read in this knitting book (which I also own) that most people ONLY make stuff the exact same color as they do in the patterns. I don’t. The purse they have in my book is red, and I’m making a black one. I would use a black one more.

I also got the SnB book, and I love it. I have already made the needle holder in the back of the book. Wait, I have an idea – I’ll take a pix and post it. Because I can! ( I think)

5. Do you invest any? If so, how? I would hire an accountant. I would also want to be very “hands-on” and be involved. Mutual funds, property, stocks – other stuff too.

Lisanne, I’m doing what you did the other day. I’m home. I have cramps. I’m medicated, but nothing’s working. I am going in for a haircut. Otherwise it’ll be a couple more weeks before I can an appointment, so I’m dragging myself in. I should be doing something productive, but everything is making me sleepy because of my meds. I just had some tea, and now I’m gonna head back to bed. Adios.
